South Wales Wedding Photographer

Hello, there! I’m Cameron Jones, professional South Wales wedding photographer and wedding videographer. I couldn’t be more proud to be born in such a stunning, photogenic country filled with so many amazing people.

In my opinion, South Wales is unmatched for its raw, natural beauty. from the breathtaking mountains of Brecon to the scenic beaches of Swansea, you’re guaranteed amazing wedding photos wherever you go. I’ve photographed some of my favourite weddings here, whenever I get a South Wales inquiry, I can’t help but smile.

For wedding photography, South Wales has some of my favourite venues in the country! My absolute favourites being the elegant St Tewdrics House and the lovely grounds of Gileston Manor. You’ll find quite a few photos from those lovely venues throughout my portfolio.

Something difficult to explain but instantly noticed is how the Welsh treat a wedding. Imagine a big Greek family sitting down for the Friday night meal and mum has served everyone favourite so the whole table is over the moon. If you can’t relate to that sentence, you might not have ever attended a Welsh wedding. The level pure joy, happiness and family spirit just shines through with ease.

Whether you’re looking for a classic seaside wedding at Ocean View Gower or maybe a contemporary urban style day at venues like Cardiff City Hall, South Wales has it all.

Natural Wedding Photographer South Wales

From my personal experience, Welsh people are rather modest and often opt for the natural, documentary approach throughout the day. Hanging back and just capturing the best moments as they happen is definitely the preferred style here, if you’re reading this and you’re also looking for a South Wales wedding photographer, you’re probably thinking the exact same thing.

Of course, it’s still a given that a lot of people still opt for the group shots and couple shots for a good reason, its a rare opportunity to have some lovely photos with family and friends that you might not see all that often. After that, they often request that the rest of the day is captured as it comes. The best smiles and reactions can never be forced, they always occur naturally when the person has no idea they’re being captured.
